Finding the Story

From autonomous drones and artificial intelligence to robotics, smart shipping and ambitious tech start-ups, I've spent years reporting on the innovations reshaping industries and the people behind them.

My journalism has appeared in the Financial Times, Sifted, DroneLife, Riviera Maritime Media and Internet of Business, among others. Along the way, I've explored emerging technologies, interviewed industry experts and examined the commercial, regulatory and societal implications of technological change.

It's work that combines curiosity, rigorous research and a healthy scepticism of industry hype. And it's shaped the way I approach every piece of content I produce today.

Behind the headlines

Technology journalism demands more than a passing understanding of the latest innovations. It means getting to grips with unfamiliar subjects, identifying credible sources, asking the right questions and finding the details that make a story worth telling.

Across hundreds of assignments, the challenge was always to separate substance from speculation. To understand not just what a new technology could do, but why it mattered, who stood to benefit and what obstacles remained. That required careful research, critical thinking and an ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging narratives without sacrificing accuracy or nuance.

That journalistic approach remains central to my commercial work. Whether I'm interviewing engineers for a customer success story, researching a technical white paper or ghostwriting thought leadership for a senior executive, I bring the same curiosity, attention to detail and commitment to getting the facts right.

Let’s tell your story.

Good storytelling makes people pay attention. Great storytelling gives them a reason to believe what they're reading.

I combine journalistic research, meticulous fact-checking and an eye for the details that matter with the creativity to turn complex subjects into compelling narratives.

If you need authoritative content that stands up to scrutiny, respects your audience's intelligence and brings your expertise to life, I'd love to hear about it.
