Zeitview | Making the Business Case for Aerial Intelligence

A drone can capture extraordinary amounts of data. But for the businesses investing in aerial inspections, it's what you do with that information that really matters.

I worked extensively with DroneBase (now Zeitview), a US technology company specialising in aerial inspections and data intelligence, to develop technical articles, industry guides and educational content for commercial audiences.

From insurance claims and construction surveys to renewable energy and infrastructure maintenance, my role was to get to grips with complex technologies, understand the challenges facing different industries and communicate the benefits in a way that made sense to potential customers.

When Technical Capabilities Become Commercial Opportunities

For a company operating at the intersection of drone technology, software and industrial inspection, one of the biggest marketing challenges is explaining the value of a sophisticated solution to audiences with very different priorities.

An insurance company assessing storm damage has different concerns from a solar farm operator monitoring panel performance or a property manager planning maintenance. The underlying technology might be similar, but the business case needs to speak to each audience.

My work for DroneBase focused on bridging that gap.

I researched and produced a substantial library of technical articles, SEO content and industry-specific guides designed to help businesses understand the practical advantages of aerial data.

The content also addressed questions closer to the point of purchase. Articles exploring the inspection process, the advantages of outsourcing data management and the practicalities of hiring professional drone operators helped explain how businesses could introduce the technology into their existing operations.

Rather than treating every article as an isolated piece of content, the broader approach was to build a library of resources that connected real operational challenges with the company's expanding capabilities.

It's the kind of technical B2B content I particularly enjoy creating: lots of research, accessible without being simplistic, and grounded in the practical reasons a business should invest in a new solution.

I can help you make the value obvious.

If your business offers a sophisticated technical solution, I can help you turn that expertise into content that speaks to the people making purchasing decisions.

From technical explainers and industry guides to case studies, white papers and SEO content, I combine thorough research with commercial storytelling to help B2B brands educate their markets, build authority and generate interest.
